Foundation Inspections

Crannell Engineering has inspected thousands of homes in the D/FW area. Our engineers will inspect the home for cosmetic indicators of movement, take elevation readings and, if needed, provide a repair plan. If you are not sure whether you are in need of an inspection, we will be glad to assist you with any questions or problems you might have.

Our reports include an interior, exterior and drainage evaluation. Additionally, the engineer will measure the elevation of the slab electronically. The evaluation will be based upon the visual inspection of the property as well as the contours of the foundation provided by the electronic measurement. We will pinpoint the problem and provide a repair plan to fix the foundation.

We have multiple degreed engineers on staff. This enables us to meet your needs as quickly as possible, while maintaining an office staff to provide any services you require.

Brick cracks, sheetrock cracks, and "sticking" doors are all signs of possible foundation problems. However, not all cosmetic damage is due to settlement. Poor drainage and water leaks can cause just as many problems as settlement. As independent engineers, we evaluate all possible scenarios to ensure the foundation is repaired properly.
